How long we retain your data
If this site is directly accessed via a non-anonymised HTTP/HTTPS connection, such as alicegotchained.faba.icu or it’s Yggdrasil mirror, the data retention policy regarding IP address, user agent, and web request is as follows:
- Any login attempt or portentially malicious request may be logged, and the IP address may be added to a filter in the software Fail2Ban, in order to block any malicious requests. Such potentially malicious requests may include, but are not limited to:
- Futile attempts to access the non-existent login page.
- Unauthorised user agents. (i.e. known bots and AI scrapers)
- Attempts to connect to the server on any port that isn’t ports 80,443, or 4001.
- Other faba.icu subdomains may be logged.
- Legitimate web traffic to the alicegotchained.faba.icu is not logged, unless it is an erroneous request.
Access to any other mirror, including Tor, I2P, and IPFS mirrors, are not logged, due to the anonymous and/or decentralised nature of those networks.
No other data is retained.
